At times like this we would like to reassure you that we are still operating our online shopping/telephone
orders and the shop is now open too. We are very conscious about keeping everyone as safe as possible
by practising good hygiene and are wearing gloves to pack your orders. Orders are now being sent by 1st
class Royal Mail where possible and we have gone back to using cardboard boxes or grass fibre packaging
for most orders too. We are mindful that every effort we can make to be sustainable can only benefit the
The shop is open again, as we said, but by appointment only. Please contact us on 01394 547077 or email
email@example.com. This is because the majority of our customers are using our video call
system and we are only able to have one customer (and companion of course) at a time.
Please don’t feel any obligation to buy by having an appointment though, it is just the best means we can
think of to not keep anyone waiting outside too long.
Hand sanitiser is available as soon as you enter and we will be wearing masks as per the new guidelines.
The shop area is thoroughly cleaned regularly too.
We are very conscious that activities such as knitting and crochet are essential for our wellbeing and we
want to do everything in our power to help with that.
We are always more than happy for you to call us or email us if preferred, so that we discuss any queries you
have. If you only know that you want to make a sweater with a hood but nothing else, we can help.
We have a lot more stock here than is on our website (over 200 branded yarns, each in an array of colour
options) so we’re sure we will be able to help you and give advice whether you are a complete beginner or
Our knitting and crochet groups are now ‘virtual’ as we are holding our regular meetings online – you will
find us on our group Facebook page – The Woodbridge Knitting Bee. Please do join us if you can,
everyone is welcome. Post your makes and ask questions too – you will never be alone there. It’s a safe place
for all things yarnie or if you need to reach out in these unprecedented times.
