Made from 65% Peruvian Highland wool and 35% superfine alpaca, and available in 21 beautiful shades, DROPS Flora is a thinner version of our lovely DROPS Lima, belonging to Yarn Group A – which means you can already find hundreds of patterns to try it with!
Warm, comfortable and with good shape stability this yarn is a great choice for multi coloured designs (the colour pairings are fantastic), like Nordic patterns, blankets and more – as well as outdoor garments and everyday clothes. With DROPS Flora being a yarn greatly coveted for knitting and crocheting hats/beanies. Providing much needed warmth on cold days it is understandable that it also makes great gloves and mittens. If you are an advanced or experimental knitter then perhaps you may like to try new textures by combining a strand of this yarn with DROPS Soft Tweed
